LZPU delivered an outstanding performance in the Guangxi Selection of the 3rd National College Student Career Planning Competition, winning one gold, four silver, and one bronze medal. The teacher team secured one gold and one bronze in the Faculty Course Teaching Track, while student teams claimed four silver medals (two in the Growth Track (Vocational Education Group) and two in the Employment Track (Vocational Education Group)). These achievements fully demonstrate LZPU’s strong foundation and innovative vitality in career education and student development.

With the theme “Global Aspirations of Youth: Planning and Navigating the Future,” the Competition featured three main tracks: Faculty Course Teaching, Student Growth, and Employment. Since its launch in October 2025, the Competition has attracted enthusiastic participation from 689,500 students and nearly 1,600 teachers across 86 universities in the region, setting a new record for participation. Following multiple rounds of selection, including university-level preliminaries and autonomous region online semifinals, a total of 68 teachers and 125 students advanced to the autonomous region’s on-site finals.

Centered on the motto “Scientific Planning for the Future, Skills Realizing Dreams,” the Competition aims to promote career planning awareness, enhance students’ career competitiveness, and strengthen teachers’ career guidance capabilities. Amidst intense competition, our teachers and students distinguished themselves through thorough preparation and outstanding on-site performance.

Student participants demonstrated clear career planning, strong professional competencies, and innovative implementation strategies. Their plans were closely aligned with both industry needs and personal development, balancing foresight and practicality. This earned unanimous recognition from the judges and showcased our students’ remarkable all-around qualities and career potential.

Teacher participants leveraged their solid theoretical foundation, extensive guidance experience, and keen understanding of vocational education trends to present high-quality career guidance cases. Their submissions excelled in professionalism, foresight, and practical relevance, ultimately earning the gold medal and reflecting our teachers’ leading role in career education.

These excellent achievements vividly demonstrate LZPU’s commitment to the educational approach of “promoting learning, teaching, and employment through competitions.” LZPU has always placed great emphasis on career education by building a systematic curriculum, expanding practical platforms, and strengthening faculty development, thereby providing comprehensive support for both student growth and faculty advancement.

Looking ahead, LZPU will continue to use major competitions as an opportunity to further deepen reforms in career education and teaching, translate competition results into educational practice, further improve the talent cultivation system, focus on training more highly skilled technical professionals, and make greater contributions to regional economic and social development.
