News from LZPU News Network (Text & Photos / Shen Shiyi, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering)On February 9, the Completion Ceremony of the LZPU–Shengyi Electronics High-end Equipment Technology Thailand Order Class was successfully held at the Multi-functional Lecture Hall of the Liuzhou Luosifen Industry College, Guantang Campus. All Thai students of the order class completed the 60-day training and graduated successfully. Wei Linhua, Director of the International Exchange Office (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office) of LZPU, Wang Fuchun, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Fan Ranran, Vice Dean, attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began in a warm atmosphere. A review video of the order class was played at the scene, vividly showing the growth of the students from being unfamiliar with the campus at the beginning to mastering professional skills skillfully now. The video captured precious moments of the students studying in class, conducting practical training, and participating in cultural exchanges over the past 60 days, allowing all teachers and students present to deeply feel their transformation.

In his speech, Wang Fuchun extended warm congratulations to the students who successfully completed their studies. He reviewed the training process of the order class since its launch and fully affirmed the students’ perseverance in overcoming language barriers and mastering professional skills in a short time. He stated that LZPU would join hands with Shengyi Electronics to provide full support for the students’ upcoming internships.

Subsequently, Zhou Yiluo, the person in charge of Shengyi Electronics’ Thailand Factory, delivered a speech via video. He highly recognized the customized training mode and teaching effectiveness of our university, and hoped that the students would “bring the knowledge and confidence accumulated in Liuzhou to shine in the next internship”.

Three student representatives, Wang Siyang, Zhou Ruohan, and Wei Lanxin, sincerely shared their learning experiences in Chinese, saying that the study had not only helped them gain professional skills, but also allowed them to feel the charm of Chinese culture and the warmth of teachers and students. The subsequent chorus performance pushed the atmosphere of the ceremony to a climax, with melodious singing conveying the profound friendship between Chinese and Thai students.

The successful completion of this ceremony is a vivid practice of the university in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative and promoting China–Thailand industry-education integration, and has reserved high-quality technical and skilled talents for Shengyi Electronics’ Thailand Factory. In the future, our university will continue to deepen cooperation with Shengyi Electronics, constantly optimize the international talent training mode, build a solid bridge for vocational education exchanges and industrial cooperation between China and Thailand, and promote people-to-people bonds and industrial prosperity between China and Thailand through vocational education.
